Geez! My official last day of summer is this Sunday and then school starts Monday. I wasn't expecting it to come so fast! Summer's what? 2 1/2 months? I guess I just took it for granted. There was a bunch more stuff I wanted to do... but I suppose it wasn't that bad of a vacation. I did get some stuff done.. I probably shouldn't have procrastinated as much on my homework. But no worries! I'm alllmoooosttt done. My assignment was to cover a journal with pictures related to the book and then find 10 interesting passages in the book and analyze them. I already covered the journal and did 8/10 of the entries. I'll be done TONIGHT! Well maybe... hehe.
PS: This is the journal I had to cover. The book I had to read was an American Childhood by Annie Dillard. (It wasn't one of my favorite books. I love her writing style but it was basically an autobiography. If you like autobiographies then give it a try!)
I know what you mean...where did summer go? It was way too fast but good!

So, would you recommend 'an American Childhood' as a good read? I'm looking for the next book to read before fall sets in. One last 'summer hoorah' so to speak.:)
