Harry Potter Love

Okay with all the craziness going around about Twilight

coming out and blah blah blah.

I just watched the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows trailer and it was AMAZING!

Is it wrong that I got goosebumps from watching it?

Yeah I hope not, because I did.

So while other people are out purchasing Eclipse tickets

I am counting the days until Harry Potter comes out.

*shivers* It's going to be amazing.

OBSESSION

I know that I do a lot of posts about my pets... and it's not my fault!

They're so freakin' photogenic and adorable.

I can't help it.

Totoro Cupcakes Anyone?

Today was my day off from work and I decided to do something

that I've wanted to do for a very long time.

MAKE CUPCAKES!! Woot woot.

I was having a bit of trouble though because we are renovating our kitchen

and everything was all over the place.

But I PREVAILED!

I had to run around finding ingredients! I ended up setting the mixer on the floor

and had to keep Ranger's (^^see above) big nose out of it.

Then when Callie got home we frosted and decorated them.

We even did one mini-heart shaped cake

in honor of Callie's One Year Anniversary.

Congrats Callie I love you lots. :)

Papers & Papers into the Recycling Bin They Go

I went through my backpack and binders today to get rid

of old no longer useful papers

and lookie here...

Isn't that a huge stack?

I always find the things I keep every year quite interesting.

For example I kept this paper from chemistry:

It was an introduction to stoichiometry and I had to draw a real life

example of Single Replacement. Cue PB & J substituting with honey.

AAH! These are the stacks of outlines I had to do all year for World History this year. Shiver.

In other news: I also have been practicing my henna on family members.

This is Callie's fully covered hand. :D

Lately I've been listening to these awesome tunes... Journey + Glee = pure genius.

All in a Day's Work

Bonjour!

It's been quite a week... I've been pretty busy almost everyday at work

trying to master face painting. I have so much more respect for people

who paint faces or anything else really. My swirls still suck but I will eventually figure them out! haha.

{I'm thinking I should buy TOMS when my first paycheck comes in what do you think?}

OH YEAH! One realllllllly cool thing that happened to me at work was

a man that could only speak French wanted a face painting

for his daughter! And guess who speaks French!?

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Yeah, you guessed it: me.

I had actually just finished explaining to some girls

that kept telling me that I should have taken Spanish

because we live near Mexico and San Antonio is highly populated with Spanish speaking people;

I just told them that French always felt right to me.

And then voila! He appears with his daughter and totally proved my point.

It was such a good feeling,

I haven't been able to speak French with someone like that in like 3 years. :)

And guess what!? I got a Blog Award from Trishie!

Next on the Agenda...

Well it's Summer time!!

I have been out of school for officially...

--hang on let me count--

3 DAYS!! *applause applause*

Last week I went to a family reunion at the Guadalupe River...

We went swimming, spent the night, and fished.

It was really fun except for the dreaded outhouse *shivers*
On the last day of school my family and I went to the Rise Bakery
and had a delicious cream cheese cookie and hot chocolate to celebrate my final day of my sophomore year.

Then for two days all the women in my family (all four of us)
went to Port Aransas for two days...
It was a lot of fun. I always love going to the beach!

Today things get a little more serious though. It's the very first day of my job at Fiesta Texas and let me tell you I look attractive. I have pleated khaki pants on that I could fit another person in, if it wasn't for the belt. And then to TOP it all OFF, I have a neon yellow/green t-shirt that can is so bright that you can not only view me from down a street but in outer space.

Wish me luck.

No seriously I'm nervous I need all the help I can get.
