What does "beautiful" mean to YOU?

define: beauty
--the quality present in a person that gives intense pleasure to the mind.

FACT: 92% of women want to change something about their appearances.

If Barbie was a real woman, she’d have to walk on all fours due to her proportions.

FACT:

-The average woman weighs 144 lbs. and wears between a 12-14.

-In one U.S. National survey, women feared being fat more than dying.

-50% of 10 th grade and 12 th grade boys want a more muscular upper body.

-It is estimated that 40-50% of American women are trying to lose weight at any point in time.

-There are 3 billion women who don’t look like super-models and only 8 who do.

I found this quote on the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty...

"Beauty is in your smile, beauty is in how you throw a ball, beauty is how the sun reflects off your hair, beauty is in your intelligence, beauty is in how you give a hug to someone who needs it, beauty is in how you laugh and brighten up a room, beauty is in your self-confidence. Isn’t it time for all girls to see their own beauty?"

That quote just kind of brightened my day. :)
