L'Automne

Summer has gone away...and has been replaced with FALL!
yay!

You have no idea how much I've been longing for this after that heated Texas summers.

Now I can wear -cardigans
-sweaters
-pants
-LOOONG socks
-leg warmers
-closed toed shoes
-dresses with long sleeves
-knitted hats

oh thank goodness. :)

what's your favorite part of fall?
the changing of the leaves?
the clothes?
the chilly weather?

I couldn't choose so here's some photos I found representing some of the best parts...

HAPPY FALL you guys!
Winter's just around the corner...

Oh and here's a song that I really enjoyed on Glee,
I'd heard the original by Barbara Streisand and Judy Garland
but I think Kurt and Rachel did an amazing job as well.
Enjoy:

Papers & Papers into the Recycling Bin They Go

I went through my backpack and binders today to get rid
of old no longer useful papers
and lookie here...
Isn't that a huge stack?

I always find the things I keep every year quite interesting.
For example I kept this paper from chemistry:

It was an introduction to stoichiometry and I had to draw a real life
example of Single Replacement. Cue PB & J substituting with honey.

AAH! These are the stacks of outlines I had to do all year for World History this year. Shiver.
In other news: I also have been practicing my henna on family members.
This is Callie's fully covered hand. :D

Lately I've been listening to these awesome tunes... Journey + Glee = pure genius.

All in a Day's Work

Bonjour!
It's been quite a week... I've been pretty busy almost everyday at work
trying to master face painting. I have so much more respect for people
who paint faces or anything else really. My swirls still suck but I will eventually figure them out! haha.

{I'm thinking I should buy TOMS when my first paycheck comes in what do you think?}

OH YEAH! One realllllllly cool thing that happened to me at work was
a man that could only speak French wanted a face painting
for his daughter! And guess who speaks French!?

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
Yeah, you guessed it: me.

I had actually just finished explaining to some girls
that kept telling me that I should have taken Spanish
because we live near Mexico and San Antonio is highly populated with Spanish speaking people;
I just told them that French always felt right to me.
And then voila! He appears with his daughter and totally proved my point.
It was such a good feeling,
I haven't been able to speak French with someone like that in like 3 years. :)

And guess what!? I got a Blog Award from Trishie!
Thank you so much for this wonderful award!
Giving it to me was so very sweet of you... :')
I'll be passing this along to:

As of right now I'm going to go finish Ever After and then

listen to some Glee tunes...

PS: Do you like the way my blog looks now?
The background color reminded me of mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Glee Goosebumps

I can't wait until Glee starts back up again and this was quite a way to end the season! I love both of these songs... especially the first one. :)

Thanksgiving Glee

Whoooo hooooooooo!!!! It's thanksgiving break! That means 5 days off from school...finally a holiday. :) Last night I saw New Moon with my friend (I haven't seen her in like 2 years!). It was pretty good, I'm not a huge fan of Twilight but I did like spending time with my friend whom I haven't seen in what feels like forever.

Then today I caught up on all the Glee episodes that I missed. I love that show! But where's Emma? I wish they would include her more. I really liked how they sang "Defying Gravity" in the last episode that I saw. I am a huge fan of Wicked ( I have the soundtrack and have seen the play once- it was amazing). Above is the song that they sang.

Also my mom and I had a "Mommy and Me" day. hehe. My sisters were out of town and my brother was at a friend's house, so it was nice just spending time with her. We went shopping for some things I have needed for a while: new jeans and black flats for debate. Then after finding both, we went to Barnes and Noble, drank Starbucks and read a few good books and magazines. What a day! I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I'm not really sure what my family is doing just yet... I'll post about that later once I find out. haha. Have a great day/week!

This Week's Little Bits

Hello again! Sorry it's been so long since I've wrote but I've been a teensy bit busy... I'm a lot more involved in school this year than I was last year. Anyways! So here's some interesting stuff that has happened in the last couple of weeks:

1. Two birthday parties: my mom's and my friends. Happy birthday to both! :D

2. Lots of homework! The one thing I don't enjoy about school. Hmm... well that's not really that interesting. Hey why did this make the list!? I OBJECT! haha.

3. An obsession over Beyonce's new song Sweet Dreams and Glee music. PS: don't forget to watch the video at the bottom from the last Glee episode. It's so funny! List I said- OBSESSED!

4. A new haircut...not sure if I like the way it looks

5. Staying after school practically everyday but Friday. I draw the line at Friday! I need to keep some sanity intact.

Well that's all I can think of right now! What about you? Anything interesting happening this week? I love hearing your responses! :)

Here's the video from the last Glee episode (it's a little slow at first but later on it gets funny...)and if you want to hear Beyonce's new song then copy and paste this link! Have a wonderful week everybody!

Don't Stop Believin'

Here are some of the little joys I found on the internet this week! If you want to see where I found any of the clothing/accessories then just click on the photo. :D

Doesn't she have a gorgeous voice? This song is from Les Misérables

I love this jacket.. I'd probably never get to wear it though. It's never really cold in South Texas-maybe like one day out of the year. But still you gotta admit! It's pretty cute!

Another Glee song! The songs they pick are just amazing...

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

GLEE

Every Wednesday at 8:00 I find myself running to the T.V. and watching one of my new favorite shows, Glee! It's so cool, it makes me want to get up and dance. If only there was a Glee Club at my school, I would rule that! haha. Anyways here are a couple videos of what it's like. If you like what you see then it's on Fox at 8:00 every Wednesday (central time). Enjoy! As for me.. I have way too much homework to even be on the computer right now, shhh! Don't tell anybody! hehe.
