Papers & Papers into the Recycling Bin They Go

I went through my backpack and binders today to get rid

of old no longer useful papers

and lookie here...

Isn't that a huge stack?

I always find the things I keep every year quite interesting.

For example I kept this paper from chemistry:

It was an introduction to stoichiometry and I had to draw a real life

example of Single Replacement. Cue PB & J substituting with honey.

AAH! These are the stacks of outlines I had to do all year for World History this year. Shiver.

In other news: I also have been practicing my henna on family members.

This is Callie's fully covered hand. :D

Lately I've been listening to these awesome tunes... Journey + Glee = pure genius.

It's been a hard couple of weeks especially because the end of school is growing near and exams are ever present. My final AP exam is in two days for World History and I've been studying like crazy, which is the reason I've been lacking in posts lately.

Yeah I know, it sucks.

However, once Summer comes around there will be relief.

And on the plus side more posts. yay!

BUT ANYWAYS!

Whenever I find a really cool picture online I save

it in my folder labeled, "my coolio pics"

and then when I'm having a tough week

(like this one) I look through all of them!

Well here they are... well some of them anyways...

Hehe, they make me feel all giddy inside.

Today's the last day of spring break...

I know, depressing right?

But I did have some fun times on this little vacation!

One awesome thing I did was have a sleepover

with a couple good friends!

We went to the park and took lots of

We also ate tons of junk food! I love junk food.

Today I went to Blanco State Park!

The Gist of It All

Yea, I certainly hope you can read this... hehe.

Let me explain with a bit more detail:

On the bus I sat next to one of my good friends who wondered why I was late to school the other day and asked me if I got was dancing again and had to get a wrap for my foot like last time and wondered if I was listening to "Knocks You Down" again.

-sigh- They'll never let me live that down.

Then in Chemistry I had to take a test on "STOICHIOMETRY".

Ew, what a name.

Yadda, Yadda, Yadda.

Then when fourth period came I did stop motion animation on skittles.

I ate probably more than I arranged but it was out of
STRESS!
Uh huh, you heard me right.

My partner was driving me INSANE!

She's one of those people that laugh at the worst moments,

and pokes you constantly,

and and and... is just plain annoying.

When I got home I ate left-over Chinese food,

which cheered me up 'cause as you all know,

I LOVE Chinese food!

That was pretty much it... I think.

Wow, I love it how all this stuff happens

and then at the end of the day I can't remember half of it. :P

Busy As a Bee

Things that have gone on in my life in the last week or so...

I was in a debate tournament! My partner and I won two out of four rounds. Whoo whoo!!

Yesterday I worked on project for Macbeth. We had to make 3 commercials that went with the movie...I had to dress up as a witch and Lady Macbeth among others. :)

My sister Callie has this lovely post about my "sock" monkey Jeb! He was such a wonderful gift... I love him so much! Ain't he just adorable?

Red Boots gifted me this blog award! Thank you, thank you! That was incredibly sweet.

Fahrenheit 451

"Wherever they burn books they will also, in the end, burn human beings." ~Heinrich Heine, Almansor, 1823

I saw my school's production of Fahrenheit 451 written by Ray Bradsbury. Oh my gosh! It was an awesome performance. I loved all the extra special effects...in short I was very impressed. I also read the play in my English class and we had to do an assignment about different books that have been banned at one point in time. I was shocked at some of the different books!

• The Great Gatsby
• The Grapes of Wrath
• To Kill a Mockingbird
• The Color Purple
• The Lord of the Flies
• Gone With the Wind

And so many others! It was a real eye opener reading this play. I feel that books have something to teach us, whether we agree or disagree with it is our choice. But the knowledge and free thinking ideas we achieve from reading is the best thing about it! It truly hurts when I see people burning books... it's destroying someone's thoughts and ideas. Spread the awareness during Banned Books Week! (let's just pretend like it wasn't a few weeks ago..haha. whoops!)

This Week's Little Bits

Hello again! Sorry it's been so long since I've wrote but I've been a teensy bit busy... I'm a lot more involved in school this year than I was last year. Anyways! So here's some interesting stuff that has happened in the last couple of weeks:

1. Two birthday parties: my mom's and my friends. Happy birthday to both! :D

2. Lots of homework! The one thing I don't enjoy about school. Hmm... well that's not really that interesting. Hey why did this make the list!? I OBJECT! haha.

3. An obsession over Beyonce's new song Sweet Dreams and Glee music. PS: don't forget to watch the video at the bottom from the last Glee episode. It's so funny! List I said- OBSESSED!

4. A new haircut...not sure if I like the way it looks

5. Staying after school practically everyday but Friday. I draw the line at Friday! I need to keep some sanity intact.
