Crafty Goodness Swap Gift Received!

Soooo guess who got her package in the mail from the Crafty Goodness Swap?

Yeah that be me!

I'm seriously

still excited.

First off I'd like to thank Jill so much for

sending me my gift, because

I never got the gift from my original partner and

she stepped in and sent me an "angel" gift.

That was so kind of you! Thank you again. :}

After reading a very sweet card (^see above^) I opened the package

and the first thing that I grabbed was this journal which was

specially decorated by Jill herself, in a fashion called "Zen-Doodling".

neat eh? Gets better...hehe

She also made this adorable bookmark which was

also decorated by herself. It's so cute, it's currently

in my copy of Pride and Prejudice which I'm trying to read

over the Christmas break.

Also decorated in the same theme was a cup

which is now on my shelf holding some of my pencils. :D

Very handy.

The next thing which has to be by far the most elaborate

and one of my favorite items in the package...was an...

*DRUMROLL*

UMBRELLA!

I risked 7 years bad luck by opening it up in my house

and taking a few pictures with it.

But it was so cool I couldn't resist!

She used so much detail...

All the detail and time that she put into

my swap gift was so incredible.

Thank you so much again Jill!

You're an angel for doing my "angel" package.

Tuesday Me-Likeys

For a loooong time I've wanted to do something consistent;

something special that I would do once a week.

And after looking through some old blog posts, I found something I did called

"TUESDAY ME-LIKEYS"--cue post--

And that's what I'm going to start doing!

We All Live in a Yellow Submarine

I saw the movie, Yellow Submarine in one of my classes this week.

Ahh... I love the Beatles, they were musical geniuses.

Anyways! Here's the last song from the movie:

I completely forgot about this song,

usually I listen to Eleanor Rigby or Hey Jude or Blackbird/Yesterday,

but this is my new favorite.

Renegade + Banquet

Last weekend was a lot of fun!

Callie, Kaitlyn, and my mom all went to the Renegade Craft Fair.

It was very cool, in a word.

There were so many different types of artists there,

with so much to offer.

One of the booths we actually got to stop by was

for Etsy!

Then we created these, "baby bunts".

Aren't they freakin' adorable?!

Later, after I made a few *cough cough* purchases

we walked around South Congress...

I actually ended up buying a mustache pin,

a graphic poster,

a shirt with toast on it,

and a few others, which are escaping my mind right now.

Callie is considering doing it next year

and I think that she would do awesome, don't you?

Then last night I went to a Debate Banquet.
Which was er, okay.
The place was really nice and had good food,
and I got to spend time with my dad.
But there was a lot of favoritism happening in all the speeches,
gifts, and things...which was getting frustrating.
They even had a super long slide show of "fun times"
which I was only included in UNO picture!
Sigh.


But you know what!
As I lay in my bed and look up at our shaky fan,
I remember: there's only 12 more days of school,
so I smile.

Lip Gloss and Chemistry

I stayed home today.

School seemed exhausting.

But that's not that real reason I didn't go.

I had er, stuff to do.

Yeah stuff!

Don't give me that LOOK!

geez....(haha)

Today I worked on World History outlines,

countless chemistry worksheets,

and studied for a chemistry test

I was supposed to take today.

Not all that exciting,

EXCEPT

I got to eat potato leek soap for lunch...

*mouth waters*

DELICIOUS!

Then later,

Holiday Gift Swap Present Unwrapped

I know it's been forever since I've made a post..duly noted. It's unfortunate but school was been crazy lately... especially since the dreaded FINALS have begun *gasp*! But anyways! In all the terribleness of finals there was joy! Who knew!? I finally received my holiday gift swap present!! Eeeeeee!!! And I absolutely LOVE it!! Here's the lovely lady responsible from bringing it to me:

her name is Shilbe

And my gift was all the way from Singapore!! How awesome is that?!

First off:
I got an adorable t-shirt which she says is from her school! I LOVE IT!

Then I got this lovely card! Which I made smaller so you couldn't read... hey I think letters are personal. haha. :)
But isn't she so talented? The santa is so cute... I'm impressed at her artsy skills.

Then I also got these cute pins! I wish you could read what they say but unfortunately I couldn't get a clear photo... grrrrrr...

but the one on the left says "NERD toward geek excellence"

and on the right it says, "adorkable <3">

I looooovvveeee pins! She knows me too well.. :)

Then I also received this pretty Paris inspired necklace!!
To the left on the circle it states, "Je t'aime" which means, "I love you!"
