It's Been Awhile
So it's a been a looooong time since I've reached out to the Blogger World. I've been busy, and posts always took up quite a bit of time to create, and I slacked for awhile. But I'm back again, and raring to go! :}
Guess what...I recently bought my very own Nikon camera:
Cool, right? Right.
My family is paying for Netflix now and with that I was able to watch Seasons 1-6 of the Office. Haha. My friend bought that bumper sticker above for me in New York because I have become such an avid fan.
I have begun doodling constantly in my classes. I try to use some of my teachers as prime models for my sketching, but generally they turn out looking a bit hmm...crazy? Especially in Physics class, my teacher has virtually no eyebrows, which makes him difficult to recreate.
I have a debate tournament coming up, so I must begin researching topics. I bought a Time Magazine, to keep me up to date on Libya/the national debt/elections, etc.
Anyways, I'm glad to be back... HELLO AGAIN INTERNET.

Crafty Goodness Swap Gift Received!
Soooo guess who got her package in the mail from the Crafty Goodness Swap?
Yeah that be me!
I'm seriously
still excited.
First off I'd like to thank Jill so much for
sending me my gift, because
I never got the gift from my original partner and
she stepped in and sent me an "angel" gift.
That was so kind of you! Thank you again. :}
After reading a very sweet card (^see above^) I opened the package
and the first thing that I grabbed was this journal which was
specially decorated by Jill herself, in a fashion called "Zen-Doodling".
Front
Back
neat eh? Gets better...hehe
She also made this adorable bookmark which was
also decorated by herself. It's so cute, it's currently
in my copy of Pride and Prejudice which I'm trying to read
over the Christmas break.
Also decorated in the same theme was a cup
which is now on my shelf holding some of my pencils. :D
Very handy.
The next thing which has to be by far the most elaborate
and one of my favorite items in the package...was an...
*DRUMROLL*
UMBRELLA!
I risked 7 years bad luck by opening it up in my house
and taking a few pictures with it.
But it was so cool I couldn't resist!
She used so much detail...
All the detail and time that she put into
my swap gift was so incredible.
Thank you so much again Jill!
You're an angel for doing my "angel" package.
MERCI!

They Say It's Your Birthday
So recently (Nov. 3) I had my birthday...
I've spent seventeen years on Earth so far.
It's been a pretty good run. haha.
I had two friends bring me cupcakes, and one bring me chocolate and a card.
Which is really awesome because I've never had that happen to me before!
Also when I got home my family members gave me a lot
of lovely gifts such as the quilt that my mother made me

Pre-Winter Cleaning
club members and I was home alone with my parents, while my brother was at a sleepover.
So I had quite a bit of time on my hands...
In the morning we went to a garage sale and I bought a few neat items!
Such as:
These glass roses which the lady claimed she bought in England.
And three antique books in pretty^^^ good condition
Then after I had brought all those narly items
up to my room, I decided to CLEAN!
YES...CLEAN!
I know be impressed. ;)
I even printed and framed this picture of my siblings and I
when we were in London. Ah memories.
Then I put up my bulletin board in the center of my room
so it could be seen by ALL!
(pictures follow...)
All the while big Mo was keeping me company!
Kneading dough on my pillow. hehehe.
The final thing I need to do to figure out what classes I want to take next
year, all of which are listed in this large intimidating yellow paper.
